Второй парадокс Леонтьева: экономическая теория или экономическая инженерия?

Аннотация
Анализируется ситуация, которая условно называется «вторым парадоксом Леонтьева», когда признанный ученый, нобелевский лауреат и бесспорный авторитет в академической среде практически не имеет места в современной экономической теории — ни в рамках мейнстрима, ни в неортодоксальных направлениях. Этот парадокс рассматривается в четырех аспектах: (1) есть ли вообще у Леонтьева теория; (2) к какой теоретической школе принадлежит или хотя бы тяготеет Леонтьев; (3) какой фактор основной в формировании рассматриваемого парадокса; (4) каковы перспективы подхода Леонтьева в макроэкономической науке? Для осмысления указанного парадокса предлагается использовать термины, введенные Г. Мэнкью, — экономист как ученый и экономист как инженер. Сделан вывод о существующем до сих пор разрыве между «теорией» и «инженерией» в экономической науке. Подобный разрыв, в том числе в связи с бурным ростом большого объема экономических данных и всеобщей цифровизацией, может постепенно уменьшаться.
